FDA Recalled Bicarbonate Additives Used During Kidney Dialysis

On June 27, 2012 the FDA recalled the two leading bicarbonate additives used during kidney dialysis since 2003. These products, GranuFlo and Naturalyte, can cause cardiac arrest and stroke in dialysis patients.
